St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital considers ESA members to be elite volunteers. Through the hard work of dedicated members ESA has raised over $225 million for St. Jude and members have spent hundreds of thousands of hours volunteering, since 1972. The 2016 ALSAC Volunteer Awards honored the efforts of ESA and all other groups who support St. Jude’s life-saving mission. The 2015-16 IC President, Rickie Brown accepted the ESA Appreciation Award on behalf of the members of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. ESA Members, Judi Grefer and Dorothy Morey were also each honored with Volunteer of the Year awards. These two tremendous members were chosen for their combined nearly 50 years of service to St. Jude, volunteering for Dream Homes, Walks, and hosting events of their own to raise money for St. Jude. Congratulations to Judi and Dorothy, your dedication is outstanding.
