The ESA Foundation established the Endowment Program as a means to accommodate those people interested in furthering the purpose and goals of the ESA Foundation. An Endowment is an everlasting memorial or honorarium. The fully funded Endowment is established with a minimum amount of $5,000 on deposit with the ESA Foundation. The money is placed in a restricted account, which earns interest based on market rates. The endower always has the option of donating additional money to the endowment to assure there are adequate funds in the available balance to award scholarships.

Once the Endowment is fully funded, a scholarship may be given if that amount is present in the endowments available balance. Scholarship winners are chosen and listed in the ESA Foundation Membership Newsletter and also on the website in June.

Scholarship Histories can be viewed by clicking on the name of a listed scholarship on our schorlarship page.

FUNDING: A minimum of $100 is required to establish an endowment. The fund will be established and the endowment's name will be placed on the contribution form to receive donations. All donations are mailed to: ESA Foundation Registered Agent, 363 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO, 80526.

The ESA Foundation scholarship chairman may be contacted to request the necessary agreement forms to begin an endowment.
