Your chapter teamraiser page has already been created. Be sure you are using the link provided to you by ESAMC for the current campaign year. Do not create a new chapter page.
How do I register an individual? ↵
Step One: Visit the link that was provided to you by ESAMC. Click "Join Team" and Login using your previous credentials if you have fundraised through ESA Hearts before, or create an account. Make sure you are joining your collegiate chapter.
Step Two: Customize your individual page URL to make it easy for donors to find. This should NOT change throughout the campaign so we suggest using your name.
Step Three: Share your link and start fundraising!
How do I record checks, venmo, and cash? ↵
For a donation raised by an INDIVIDUAL chapter member:
Step One: Deposit cash or venmo into your chapter account and imediately write a check for the full amount made out to
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Step Two: Visit fundraising.stjude.org - login - then select ESA Hearts Events
Step Three: Click "Mobile Check Deposit" and follow the prompts. This must be done from a phone or tablet.
Step Four: Confirm the donation you entered shows in the donation list.

For a donation raised by the CHAPTER:
*You must be a team Captin or Co-Captin to record checks for your team.
Step One: Deposit cash or venmo into your chapter account and imediately write a check for the full amount made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or use your chapter debit card to add the full donation to your team page.
Step Two: Send your check to the following address:

What is ALSAC? ↵
- ALSAC stands for American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities.
- ALSAC was founded by Danny Thomas in 1957 to be the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
- ALSAC’s sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness necessary to operate and maintain the hospital.
- ALSAC is responsible for raising 75% of the funds necessary to operate St. Jude.
- ALSAC is responsible for St. Jude’s major fundraising campaigns – Dream Homes, Radiothons, St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer, galas, golf tournaments, etc.
- There are ALSAC regional offices across the United States in place to help local programs.

ESA's partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ↵
- The ESA and St. Jude partnership began in 1972 after St. Jude founder Danny Thomas was introduced to ESA by Indiana member Judy Lester.
- ESA members immediately fell in love with Danny Thomas and the mission of St. Jude. ESA’s first commitment was to raise $1 million.
- Danny Thomas loved ESA and attended nearly every ESA national convention until his death in 1991.
- ESA members pride themselves on being at the ground level of many of St. Jude’s major fundraising events, including Walk/Runs, Dream Homes, and radiothons.
- The collegiate fundraising program, ESA Hearts St. Jude, was introduced in 2011 as a way to further engage collegiate ESA members with the St. Jude mission.
- ESA has donated more than $275 million in cash and pledges since the partnership began in 1972.

Other important details about ESA Hearts St. Jude ↵
- All of your fundraising efforts throughout the year will be included in this campaign. That includes your kickball tournaments, spaghetti dinners, restaurant percentage give back nights, rallies, etc.
- ALSAC/St. Jude can only count donations that YOU REPORTED through your teamraiser page. For instructions for checks and cash, please see "How do I record checks and cash?" above.
- Your chapter's total for the current campaign year will include all donations RECEIVED by March 31st. If you have a LATE spring semester St. Jude event planned that will result in donations being received after March 31st then those donations will be added to your totals for NEXT YEAR.
- ALSAC/St. Jude sponsored events (Up ‘Til Dawn, St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer, Radiothons, and other events created by ALSAC/St. Jude) will NOT BE INCLUDED in your total for the ESA Hearts St. Jude campaign. Those events have their own separate prizes and awards that are tracked separately.
- Donations collected on 3rd party sites (GoFundMe, etc.) will NOT BE INCLUDED in your total for the ESA Hearts St. Jude campaign. You must use www.stjude.org/esahearts pages for all donations in order for the donations to be counted in your total for the ESA Hearts St. Jude campaign.
- You can change the verbiage on your chapter page multiple times so it always matches your current event. By using the same page all year, the total will continue to accumulate and accurately reflect your annual fundraising.
- If you have accidentally sent any checks to St. Jude without first recording them on your ESA Hearts St. Jude teamraiser page please contact Deena Steele as soon as possible at ESA HQ 970.223.2824 deenas@epsilonsigmaalpha.org

- Create a contest within your chapter for top fundraiser.
- Create a raffle for all members who set up their page by a specific date.
Fundraising Tips ↵
- Share your fundraising link on social media.
- Host a fun event on campus. Examples below:
- Let’s “TACO” ‘Bout St. Jude - taco party
- Volleyball or kickball tournament
- Secret Crush - Crush soda bought by a secret admirer and delivered by ESA
- Host a safe and fun virtual event. Examples below:
- Trivia Night - individuals or teams can face off in fun trivia
- Game Night
- No Contact Drop-off Gifts - candy bars, flowers, candy canes, etc. bought for friends and family delivered by ESA
- Share your reason for fundraising for St. Jude with your friends and family during the holidays.
